Kuwait’s International Business Councils Gather for the 2026 Annual Inter-Council Summer Dinner

Kuwait City, July 30, 2026: Members of Kuwait’s international business community gathered at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait for the 2026 Annual Inter-Council Summer Dinner, a significant platform for bringing together business leaders, diplomatic representatives, government stakeholders, and professionals from across Kuwait’s diverse international communities.

The event highlighted the important role that business councils play in creating channels for dialogue, encouraging cross-cultural understanding, and building relationships across sectors and nationalities. By bringing several communities together in one setting, the dinner provided attendees with an opportunity to move beyond their usual networks, exchange perspectives, identify shared interests, and establish connections that may lead to future business and institutional collaboration.

The event brought together members, partners, and guests from eight participating organizations: ABCK–AmCham Kuwait, the British Business Forum, Canadians in Kuwait, Casa Italia Kuwait, the French Business Council Kuwait, the Indian Business and Professional Council, the Lebanese Business Council in Kuwait, and the Portuguese Business Council – Kuwait. Their Excellencies, representatives of the diplomatic community, and distinguished guests from Kuwait’s government entities were also welcomed during the opening remarks.

Following guest arrival and registration, attendees enjoyed dinner and extended networking in a relaxed setting designed to encourage open conversation and meaningful engagement. The diverse participation reflected Kuwait’s position as a meeting point for international business communities and demonstrated the value of maintaining strong relationships between the private sector, diplomatic missions, government entities, and professional organizations.

The program later recognized the organizations whose support helped make the dinner possible. Waldorf Astoria Kuwait was honored as Hotel Partner, BDO as Silver Sponsor, and Arkan Legal Consultants as Gold Sponsor. Representatives received commemorative plaques, followed by an official group photograph with the heads and representatives of the participating business councils.

The evening concluded with a raffle featuring prizes generously contributed by Alshaya, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Easa Hussain Al Yousifi & Sons Co., Holiday Inn Salmiya, Michele’s Beauty Salon, Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Apartments Kuwait, The Sultan Center, Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, and Virginia Dental. Prizes included dining vouchers, retail gifts, hotel stays, beauty services, and dental services.

In the closing remarks, the organizers thanked Their Excellencies, government and embassy representatives, participating councils, sponsors, partners, and guests for their support. Attendees were also invited to share feedback through the event survey to help shape future inter-council initiatives.
