The event brought together diplomatic representatives, U.S. and Kuwait military leaders, Embassy officials, and select members of the AmCham Kuwait Chairman’s Club to honor the legacy and sacrifice of American service members, particularly those who served in Kuwait and the broader region.
Before the documentary screening, attendees heard remarks from distinguished guests. U.S. Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Karen Sasahara, delivered a heartfelt address, paying tribute to the fallen heroes of the U.S. Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of liberty and justice.
The evening then officially began with a welcome reception featuring light refreshments, followed by a special screening of a 20-minute documentary film presented by AmCham Kuwait in partnership with Lockheed Martin. The film offered a powerful reflection on the Iraq War, highlighting interviews with U.S. coalition members and prominent Kuwaiti figures, while emphasizing the enduring cooperation between the two nations.
The evening concluded reaffirming the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to fostering U.S.–Kuwait relations through meaningful engagement and shared remembrance.
